Dear CFTN Family,
Christmas is an important day of worship and remembrance. It is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came into the world over 2,000 years ago to save us from sin and darkness.
Jesus is Christmas! Because of Jesus, we are set free from the bondage of sin and are able to live righteously according to God’s purpose.
Throughout the year, many of you have shared testimonies of how God has strengthened your faith in Him. You may have experienced despair, fear, loss of work, loneliness, and everything may not have been going well. But, God provided a way, and always provides. For nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37-38).
This Christmas and throughout the new year, let us continue to pray for God’s grace, healing and protection over people in Geneva and throughout the world who are experiencing: illnesses; homelessness; the impact of poverty, war or other forms of violence; unemployment; problems in their marriage and family, and for those in need of a friend.
The greatest gift to another human is reaching out and spreading love… as the scripture in 1 Corinthians 13:13 says “And the greatest of these is love.” Let the light of Jesus shine in us and through us this season and throughout 2023.
Together with our CFTN Council, I pray that you and your families will experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ, today and always.
“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:14)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
